week 45/52 🌧📦☕🐈‍⬛💪

i’m so excited to finally announce that i—well, technically we (my girlfriend and i 😌)—are moving!! we finally found a new place, and honestly? it feels like divine intervention. it’s not far from where we are now, so the move itself should be pretty smooth. we’re going from a one-bedroom to... another one-bedroom—but a basement suite this time. and the space, you guys. the space!! 😭

that being said, it’s a bittersweet goodbye. i’ve been at my current spot for so many years i’ve lost count. it’s been home through a lot, but this past year has been rough—especially on my mental health. bedroom rentals aren’t exactly a dream situation, but this new chapter feels like the light at the end of a really long tunnel.

so, if i’m a little quieter on here throughout november, just know i’m probably buried under moving boxes, stress, and way too much coffee. but come december? expect updates, stories, and maybe even a house tour on youtube 👀

October was such a ride — full of highs, lows, and everything in between. The wife and I had our own little paint night 🎨, the cats are finally getting along (progress!!), and there’s been this constant hum of change in the air lately.

Speaking of change… WE’RE MOVING IN DECEMBER!! 🏡 I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you all. The thought of having more space (and therefore… more bookshelves… and by extension… MORE BOOKS?!) has me absolutely feral in the best way.

this is my first ever special edition and i’m completely obsessed. i keep catching myself just staring at it like it’s a trophy. 🖤 i already know if Caught Up ever gets the same treatment, my wallet doesn’t stand a chance.

meanwhile, i’m still making my way through Heartless because life refuses to give me a solid reading day. and The Defender is sitting at my local bookstore waiting for me to pick it up — if only my work hours didn’t overlap with every open time 😩
